Dress Code
The overall brief is fashionably formal: polished & elegant.
We're celebrating from late afternoon through midnight, beginning with our ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall and continuing with dinner, drinks and dancing into the evening at St. John Smithfield.
A note on April in London: We may all think it's spring, but London occasionally disagrees. Evenings can be cool, so we recommend bringing suitable outerwear for the journey between the ceremony & the dinner.
Ladies

Cocktail dresses, elegant separates and jumpsuits all work beautifully.
For colour, think merlot, tobacco, forest green, midnight blue and other rich, saturated dark tones. Please avoid shades of white.
Prints, embroidery and interesting textures are warmly encouraged, but by no means compulsory.
Comfortable shoes are recommended - or bring a second pair for the dance floor!
Any questions, ask the bride - she loves this sort of thing x
Gentlemen

Lounge suits, ties and dress shoes compulsory.
If you're wondering whether your look is too dressed up, it probably isn't!
If in doubt, ask the groom.
